Are you looking for some inspiration when creating vegan dishes at home? Why not come along to a cookery demo from Leicester’s Pomelo & Rocket?

Hosted by the Leicester Vegetarian & Vegan Group, staff from Pomelo & Rocket, which is the in house cafe at The Mill, will be showing you how to create some tasty vegan dishes.

On the night they will be making a Green Goddess Linguine with courgette & asparagus. This will include making lemon pesto, cashew parm and a toasted breadcrumb topping. They’ll also be knocking up a vegan dessert as well.

The social event is open to all and entry is just £2, however it’s free if you’re a current Leicester Vegetarian and Vegan Group member.

The group has been running for 19 years now and their aims including promoting a plant based diet for better health, raising animal welfare issues and raising awareness of environmental issues.

No need to be a member to attend, just go along and learn some new cooking skills.

The event will be held at Leicester Secular Hall on Thursday 12 March (7.30pm).
