If you’re after a new fun and unique activity for the kids and family then look no further!

The Dandelion Hideaway at Osbaston is launching a new bushcraft training courses for families/friends who are glamping in the award-winning vintage chic, en suite canvas cottages at this working farm. Ancient survival skills will be taught in the Spinney Wood on site by expert Euan from Woodlands Survival Crafts, including shelter building, creating fire and making useful gadgets for the camp fire. Other activities on the farm include milking the goats and grooming the Shetland ponies, plus an introduction to hen keeping.   Start the day collecting eggs for breakfast and end it toasting marshmallows over the camp fire. Supplies can be bought from the farm’s own Cow Shed Stores, including cheese and milk from the delightful goats on the farm.

Bushcraft courses will take place in June and September, (making it a perfect gift for Father’s Day – 15/06/14).  June 5, 12, 19, 25 (midweek holidays) 15, 22, 29 June (weekends). September 4, 11, 25 (midweek holidays) 7, 14, 21 September (weekends)

There will be a maximum of ten guests (suggested minimum age 8 years) on each half day course. 

A four night midweek break for six starts from £475. The cost of the course is £45 per canvas cottage.
