Are you ready to try something totally different? Leicester is set to welcome a brand new leisure venue in April as Smash & Axe becomes the first of its kind in the East Midlands.
True to its name, Smash and Axe will combine indoor axe throwing and smash rooms (you may have heard of them called rage rooms before) both under the same roof.
Book something completely different with the venue being the perfect option for a fun date night for couples, and groups celebrating birthdays, stag and hens, team building events and more. It also offers an ideal release for individuals wanting to de-stress and let off some frustrations.
At Smash & Axe you’ll find 3 axe throwing lanes, each with 2 targets. There’ll be expert guidance on hand before you get your Viking-like throw ready to compete against your friends. You might have heard about axe throwing before as it has becoming a hugely popular activity in other UK cities and is said to be one the best team building activities on offer. There’s now no need to travel as Smash & Axe will be the only “ax-citing” venue of its kind in the East Midlands.
Now onto the two Smash Rooms. This recreational activity is set within a safe environment designed to provide Destruction Therapy. First of all you’ll be given a Bluetooth speaker so you can select your perfect playlist, before selecting your weapon of choice and setting to work smashing up all manner of items, large and small. Yep, smash it all up to whatever tunes you choose! With protective clothing and in a supervised environment you’ll get to release all that stress you’ve been harboring. Smash stuff, feel great!
After you’ve finished in the Smash Room the team come in to separate items for recycling so there is minimal waste.
Smash & Axe will be open 6 days/week and is based in LE1, just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre. The activities can be booked separately or as a package, with prices from £20.
