The roof terrace at The Rutland & Derby is one of the best outdoor spots in town and it’s reopening with a poutine flavoured twist.
Yes the R&D will reopen on Friday 23 April with seating outside on the roof terrace and on the lower patio terrace area. They’ve got a brand new foodie pop-up called The Poutine Collective taking over the kitchen too and boy does it sound good! If you’re not familiar with poutine, it’s essentially fries, cheese and gravy… but made a little fancier than that.
The menu includes Classic Poutine and then a variety of different choices with toppings ranging from slow cooked beef brisket to fried paneer and tikka sauce.
The Rutland & Derby will be open at the weekends only:
Friday 11am-late
Saturday 12pm-late
Sunday 12pm-5pm
They’ll be serving their usual range of drinks plus hard cider slushies and great cocktails, and there’s some pop-up live music to look forward to as well. They won’t be taking any bookings, so it’s a case of head down and grab a table.
