The wait is finally over! The highly anticipated restaurant, Tandem, has officially opened its doors to the public.
With celebrity chef, Cyrus Todiwala, involved in the project, anticipation has been high! Tandem offers a diverse menu that is unique to any other Indian restaurant, pulling on influences from Goan and Portuguese cuisine, and pairing these with predominantly British produce.
Situated in the heart of Leicester’s vibrant and bustling centre, Tandem promises to be a journey of culinary discovery, as well as a perfect location for an evening dinner, a cocktail with friends or a quick post shopping lunch.
Following the launch, Cyrus said, “I’m thrilled to open the doors to Tandem – it’s been an exciting journey bringing the concept to life. Leicester is already attuned to Indian flavours, so it is an honour to bring a new take on this cuisine that fully represents the diverse range of flavours and beauty that authentic Indian food can have.”
Having already established a name for himself in London, Tandem will be the fifth restaurant in Todiwala’s impressive portfolio, alongside Café Spice Namasté and Mr Todiwala’s Kitchen.
