We all know about Leicester Comedy Festival, but comedy is becoming a permanent all round fixture in Leicester these days. The Crumblin’ Cookie’s new venue, The Cookie Jar is now pulling out all the stops to bring you some fantastic Edinburgh warm up shows this summer.
These shows are going to be the place to be to see the hottest talent around, by some new and also more established names. Kicking off will be Tom Deacon on 28th June and he’ll be followed by Seann Walsh and Marlon Davis on 29th June (not that I’m biased but Seann Walsh was my highlight of this year’s Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival). If that’s not enough for you on 4th July they’ll be hosting a double bill of Josh Widdicombe and Suzi Ruffell, followed by Paul Foot and Mitch Benn on 6th July.
