Leicester students, here’s a food swap we can get behind.
Baked beans have earned their status as a student staple: they’re good on toast, on a jacket potato, or part of our Big Breakfast – but everything has its limits, and even the better cooks among us can only do so much.
On 11th October 2021 The Soar Point and Loaded Dog are banning the beans! They’ll be welcoming Leicester’s students with an offer they can’t refuse…. Just bring in your beans and swap them from a burger. Simple!
For one day only, students can say goodbye to beans on toast and tuck into one of the pub’s burgers instead – all for free. With a new menu that’s bang on trend, level up lunch or dinner whilst getting acquainted with one of the best bars around.
Add a side and wash it down with one of the craft cans or cocktails and you’re set. The best part? You’ll earn some good karma in the process as every tin of beans traded in will be delivered to a local Open Hands Compassion Centre ensuring that nothing goes to waste.
Valid to those arriving with a tin of beans on 11 October only.
