Some of you eagle eyed music fans may have heard about some secret gigs that are launching in Leicester next month. It’s all very hush hush, all we know is that the first one is on Saturday 15 October, it’s at Brewdog, tickets are on sale now and there’s a great band playing but nobody will know who it is until the night.
If you’re even more eagle eyed you might have spotted some black guitar picks popping up on bar tops in various venues throughout the city with the word Shh! the date and an instagram handle printed on them in gold.
Shh! is the name of this new live indie music night that launches on Saturday 15 October and promises to provide an injection of adrenaline into Leicester’s already vibrant music scene. Who is on the line up is a closely guarded secret, and founders Jimmy and Luke have both sworn to take the names of the artists to the grave if necessary. All that we have been able to eek out of them is that there are 3 established bands who will be turning up to play on the night.
Jimmy, Co-founder of Shh! said “When we decided we were going to put on a live music night in Leicester, we were really eager to do something that would make us a little bit different to what Leicester is used to.”
The only way to find out who the bands are is to make sure that you are somewhere in the crowd when they walk out on stage to perform. With a capacity of just 120, its going to be an intimate show and an experience filled with anticipation and excitement for those willing to take that chance on purchasing a ticket for a mystery line up.
