For a winter treat this festive season make sure you pay a visit to The Pear Tree Inn in Loughborough as they open their winter lodge complete with festive decor and fondue selection.
The family run, contemporary village pub serves a wonderful selection of home made food from their regular menu and for winter they’ve added both cheese and chocolate fondues to the menu. What’s more, they’ve got a super festive lodge for you to enjoy them in!
Pear Tree Lodge is located outside the village pub and is open every day, complete with recently built stunning open fire. The pub will be holding Ski Lodge Parties (next one planned for the new year) to match their apres ski vibe and it’s also open for private hire if you fancy a ski party of your own.
The lodge itself is open all the time for people to enjoy some winter dining al fresco. So grab a blanket, pull up a seat by the fire and warm yourself up with a cocktail and a festive fondue. Fondues are priced at £20 and serve up to 8 people in a choice of cheese or chocolate.
The regular menu is also available from The Pear Tree, which includes favourite such as Cornish Cod Scotch Egg in a Shellfish Bisque, Hereford Flat Iron Steak with Marrowbone Sauce, and choice of wood-fired pizzas.
