Revolution has been a feature of Leicester nightlife for years now, but the venue on New Walk has undergone a refurb and it’s better than ever!
With a rejigged layout, the venue seems more spacious and welcoming and there’s even extra room for dancing. Upstairs has been made into a mezzanine floor and provides a fantastic space for private hire, or just to escape from dancing downstairs whilst still enjoying the great music and delicious cocktails.
The cocktail menu at Revolution is, if possible, even better than before. Our personal favourites were the Pornstar Martini and the Absolut Passion, but if you’re feeling creative why not order the Mojito Box, which is delivered to your table with all of the ingredients for you to mix your own drinks.
If you fancy a bite to eat, you won’t be disappointed. The new menu at the bar has got everything you could fancy from light salads, to burgers or pulled pork. There’s a great dessert menu too and we can’t wait to go down and work our way through it!
The manager was quick to assure us that they take their food service very seriously at the bar and it is a main feature of the newly restyled venue. They’re even going to be serving until much later, so if you fancy a late night bite on a weekend be sure to book your table in advance and enjoy some sharing platters on the side of your cocktails.
With all of the new places popping up in the city centre it’s great to see one of our old favourites still competing with them and keeping up with the changing times. We’ll definitely be back soon!
