As part of the film’s 25th anniversary celebration you can see the brilliant Priscilla Queen of the Desert at Phoenix this weekend.

Reissued in a new restored version to celebrate its 25th anniversary, this iconic and groundbreaking Australian film follows two drag queens (Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce) and a transgender woman (Terence Stamp) as they travel across the sweltering Australian outback in a tour bus christened ‘Priscilla’.

Discovering prejudice and bigotry in the smaller rural towns on the outback, the three companions also find unexpected allies and a deeper understanding of who they are. Plus expect plenty of Abba hits!

The film is showing as part of Phoenix’s Sun Screen Season this July and August, all tickets are £8 and include either a pint of beer, glass of wine, or a large soft drink. Show your ticket to a member of the bar staff on arrival and they will run through what drinks are included in the offer.

See the film on Friday 5 (8.45pm) or Saturday 6 July (9pm). TICKETS.
