It doesn’t get more Leicester than this as Kasabian and Easy Life headline the Sunday night at Oxfordshire’s Truck Festival.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Oxfordshire festival and our Leicester favourites will be joined on the site by the likes of Sam Fender, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Kooks, Kelis, Blossoms, Sigrid, Sea Girls, The Subways and so many more.

Dubbed as a “mini Glastonbury”, “the English Coachella”, India AF” and “The Godfather of the small festival scene”, Truck continues to pull out cracking line-up year after year, whilst maintaining it’s intimate festival feel.

This year’s Sunday evening line-up is the one we’ve wanted in Leicester for years, but you don’t have too far to travel for it. The festival takes place in Steventon, Oxfordshire, around 90 minutes from Leicester.

As well as the music line-up Truck boasts a real family friendly quality to it, with activities for all ages, circus tent, sports day games, kids disco and much more. Plus of course, the food is another big festival star. As well as a plethora of food options around the site, The Food Hall, entirely run by volunteers from the local Faringdon and District Rotary Club, is a staple of Truck Festival. Situated right next to the Main Stage serving incredible Steak Sandwiches, Smoked Salmon on toast, highly recommended Mac & Cheese or classic Tea and Scones – they have it all!

With a music line-up to catch your eye, and plenty of on site activities to keep you entertained, it’s a guaranteed great weekend. And the biggest Leicester main stage party in the festival calendar this summer.
