The UK’s biggest tribute festival returns to Leicestershire this weekend as Glastonbudget takes place in Wymeswold.

For a number of years now the festival has welcomed the very best of the UK’s tribute scene to the county for a big party weekend. This year looks set to be as big as ever with leading tributes to Abba, Bruno Mars, Arctic Monkeys, Thin Lizzy, Guns n Roses, Kings of Leon, Stereophonics, The Kinks, Erasure, The Cure and so many more. Grab a beer and spend the weekend dancing to some of your favourite tracks.

Alongside the cover bands are a number of original acts hand picked by judges from the series of auditions, which have been held in Leicester over recent months. Bands including Finches of Attica, The Whisky Rebellion and Skam have all won slots and will be bringing some excellent local talent to the weekend.

Away from the main stages there’ll be a silent disco running in the Big Top with 2 channels so you can choose between trance, dance and club anthems or indie rock, Brit pop and 90s classics. Or if you don’t fancy that then why not jump on the funfair? Of course there’ll also be a range of food choices with on site caterers including Hot n Kicking Chicken and Black Pig Catering, to name a couple.

Promising bigger bars and quicker service than ever before and their fancy dress contest is returning! Dig out your best outfit and organisers will be keeping their eye out of the weekend for their favourite, with the winner receiving drinks vouchers and free tickets to next year’s event.
