The newest addition to Leicester’s dining scene, Peara, is due to open on Monday 10 March.
In a modern setting within The Gresham building, Peara specialises in contemporary Asian cuisine. Their chefs draw inspiration from cherished family recipes passed down through generations across the rich tapestry of regional Asian cuisines.
Celebrating the diversity of Asia’s flavours, Peara aims to combine time-honoured techniques with the finest local produce to craft dishes that feel both authentic and contemporary.
Menu highlights include Soft Shell Crab Pop Rocks, Golden Tempura Sushi, Seafood Croquettes, and Lamb Sheek Cheesy Pull for starters. Whilst for main you can choose from an exciting menu, including Pan Asian Roasted Poussin, Butter Chicken with Burrata, Saag Paneer Lasagne, Fish Moilee, T-bone steak and mixed grill, among others.
You can also savour the Peara spin on traditional options such as Biryani, Achari, and Bhuna dishes.
A children’s menu is also available.
The full menus can be found on the Peara website.
Peara is a Halal restaurant and no alcohol will be served, however they do offer a menu of non-alcoholic cocktails.
“At Peara, we’re proud of the food we serve, but also of our story – a story inspired by our mother and remarkable woman whose name our restaurant proudly bears. Peara’s strength, love and passion for hospitality inspired this journey, and is at the heart of everything we do. Inspired by the recipes and traditions of our family, we’ve joined together to create something truly special—a place that celebrates love and where tradition and heritage come together to celebrate the essence of home.”
Peara opens on Monday 10 March and bookings can be made online at peara.co.uk.
The restaurant will be open daily from 4.30pm.
Peara is located at 40 Market Street, Leicester, LE1 6DP.
