How about a spot of outdoor cinema this bank holiday weekend? The Green Place in Sileby have a number of showings over the weekend and you’ll be supporting their brilliant green initiatives along the way!

The Green Place is run by the staff and volunteers of community project, Complete Wasters, and they aim to promote all things green and ethical in a fun and captivating way.

With an on site fair-trade cafe, wonderful eco-gardens to explore and ethical gifts available to buy, it’s a lovely setting. They even have yurts and dens available to hire, as well as space for private events and pop-ups.

You’re invited to bring a chair, arrive early to grab your spot and enjoy the pre film music which is carefully matched to soundtrack of the film you’re about to watch!. The Caravan bar will be open with a range of ales, wines and soft drinks and the cafe will be open for food with crumpet toasting round the fire.
 
Doors open 6pm and the films start at dusk (8.40 approx).
 
If you want to extend the evening, why not book a VIP package and spend the night in The Green Place’s vintage caravan, Lulu (sleeps 2 people), or book the night in their cosy yurt (sleeps 6 people).
