Clarendon Park is set for an exciting new foodie addition as Oshen Poke confirms they’ll be opening, bringing poke bowls to Leicester.
All the deliciousness of sushi but in a bowl, poke bowls have become hugely poplar across the country with Leicester now set to have its own first poke bowl eatery.
Originating in Hawaii, poke means “to slice or cut” and traditionally refers to raw, marinated fish which is then tossed over rice and topped with vegetables and umami-packed sauces.
Oshen Poke will open in the former Minus14 unit on Queens Road with the same owners behind the launch, choosing to switch from desserts to the healthy bowl offering.
Oshen Poke is due to open in December. You can follow them on Instagram @oshenpoke for updates.
