There’s a new exhibition heading to New Walk Museum this summer, all focusing on the wonderful world of Ladybird Books.
Yes, Ladybird children’s books were printed and published in Loughborough from 1915 right through to 1973 and formed such a big part of many people’s childhood, in Leicestershire and beyond. Now, they’ve recently enjoyed a revival with a range comedy books being released.
The exhibition will look at original artworks and the artists behind some of the best loved books.
