This week’s new episode of the Cool As Leicester podcast has a great foodie twist as we’re joined by TV chef, Shivi Ramoutar.
You might recognise Shivi as one of the regulars on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen but she did actually grow up here in Leicestershire and as a nice added bonus she also happens to be one of my oldest friends, so recording this was a nice excuse for a catch up.
Shivi’s new book, The Ice Kitchen, is out now and is packed full of hints and tips of how to get the most out of your freezer at home whilst still enjoying healthy and nutritious meals. We chat to her about that as well as some favourite recipes from her first book, Caribbean Modern, her time on Masterchef and memories of food & drink growing up in Leicestershire.
