With bank holiday weekend set to be a scorcher what better time to get out and about and enjoy some wonderful street performance?

Journeys Festival International Leicester has been putting on a whole range of free activities throughout August and for bank holiday weekend you won’t want to miss out on Lives and Lemons. There are 2 performances on Saturday 24 August at 11.30am and 2pm, bringing the street alive with colour.

Participants from around the world, who are now based in Leicester, have been creating a magical walkabout performance with international theatre and music practitioner, Ines Sampaio, now it’s time to bring it to life.

Starting from the Clock Tower, join the performers as they meander through the streets with their gloriously colourful creation of fun, dance, music and song.

Lives and Lemons takes places on Saturday 24 August at 11.30am and 2pm, starting from the Clock Tower. Free to watch.
