Brian Fallon, the dulcet tones behind the wonderful Gaslight Anthem, is back with his new album and live in the East Midlands this week as he descended on Rock City.
With a set list that drew on his solo efforts as well as beautiful covers of Tom Waites and U2, all of which were a huge hit with the crowd. None more so though than when he returned to the stage for the encore, bursting into The Gaslight Anthem’s The 59 Sound. The crowd loved it. Brian loved it. What a perfect encore for the show, which led into his cover of I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For. And if Brian hadn’t found what he was looking for, the crowd definitely had!
