The musical adaptation of Little Miss Sunshine is going on tour and is set to come to Leicester with a run of performances at Haymarket Theatre in September 2019.
Based on the Academy Award-winning 2006 film of the same name, the musical follows the Hoover family, who travel from New Mexico to California in their rickety, yellow VW campervan to help their daughter Olive compete in a beauty contest.
The 2006 film starred Tonu Collette, Abigail Breslin, Greg Kinnear and Steve Carell as the dysfunctional family, and the adaptation has since enjoyed a hit run off-Broadway. The UK tour will begin with a 7 week London run before heading around the country.
Little Miss Sunshine will be at the Haymarket Theatre from 3 – 7 September 2019. Tickets will be on sale very soon!
