As part of De Montfort University’s Black History Season they will be hosting a public event on Overcoming Adversity in Sport and two stars of the Leicester City squad will be joining them.
The panel discussion with DMU coaches and sporting partners will feature representatives from Leicester City, Leicester Tigers, Leicester Riders and Leicestershire County Cricket Club. They have now confirmed that Wes Morgan and Youri Tielemans will be joining them from Leicester City. Other panel members are to be announced soon.
The panel will focus on overcoming adversity in sport and how they developed leadership and teamwork skills. Furthermore everyone who registers and attends the event will go into a draw to win one of 25 pairs of tickets for the Leicester City v Everton match on Sunday 1 December.
The panel session and Q&A takes place on Thursday 17 October from 1pm – 3.30pm at The Venue. Places are free and you can register your spot on the DMU website.
