Leicester foodies, you’re in for a treat as the fabulous team from Kimber pop-ups have announced their first Kimber To Go.
Kimber’s aim is to bring traditional ramen & izakaya to the midlands via exciting concepts, events & collaborations. They also provide private dining options for corporate events, weddings, or even at home. Their previous pop-up events at Lilu and 100&Six were sell outs with rave reviews about the food.
Not to be undone by the pandemic they’re now launching a Kimber To Go offering, with the first one from Friday 31 July – Sunday 2 August. You can now pre-order your meal items online and they’ll be available to collect from 100&Six on Queens Road at your chosen time. Enjoy them at home or in the park!
Tonkatsu, Teriyaki Chicken, Miso Roasted Aubergine, Yasai Gyoza, Chicken Kara Age… they’re just a few of the dishes that you can enjoy over the weekend.
Food is priced at £15 for a choice of main course and side dish. Kimber has also paired up with 100&Six and BATCHED to offer matched cocktails too. Enjoy Broker’s gin with miso salt caramel paired with your choice of chocolate & hazelnut, yuzu & sesame or coconut & pink ginger.
Kimber’s Robin Hardman commented, “We want to put out food that’s fairly priced, whilst being the best in the city. Kimber do ramen, and then izakaya. Izakaya is food to enjoy with alcohol, so we’ve teamed up with Asahi and BATCHED to offer delicious drinks also.”
“I’m personally most excited about the chicken teriyaki donburi, the kara age (kimber fried chicken) and as many eggs as I can manage! They’re insane! We’ve of course got tonnes of vegan options too, about half the menu in fact.”
