If you’re looking for ideas on how to entertain the kids during the summer holidays then why not take the cheeky monkeys for an indoor adventure they won’t forget, in Leicester’s very own Amazon rainforest, Treetop Adventure Golf?
From Monday 15 July until Wednesday 28th August, families heading to Treetop Adventure Golf at Highcross can enjoy free face painting and glitter tattoos from Thursdays to Saturdays (12pm to 4pm) as well as daily arts & crafts activities. This, of course, is all in addition to the usual fun to be had exploring both 18-hole mini golf courses. Don’t worry if you all work up an appetite whilst you’re in the jungle, because you can enjoy tasty jungle grub from Pizza Cabana, which will be open to feed the entire clan from 10am every day!
Whether you choose to tackle the Tropical Trail and navigate your way through the rainforest, meeting the Chattering Toucans and putting through the mighty Twisted Fig as you go, or brave the mystical magic of the Ancient Explorer, with The Sacred Mask and The Sleepy Head, don’t forget to test your skills on the Bonus 19th hole! Grab a table and hang out in The Market to enjoy cracking coffee at the Rainforest Roast café, with beans from local roastery The Coffee Counter, plus cakes and bakes from Leicestershire’s local bakery Bay Tree Bakes. The Thirsty Toucan bar will also be open for exotic cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks and local beers.
Treetop Adventure Golf opened on Shires Lane, Highcross in June and has proved a huge hit since its launch. Don’t worry about booking though, you can turn up when you’re ready and the team will have you ready to tee off in no time. Throughout the summer holidays they’ll even be open from 10am everyday to give more time for rainforest fun.
