Get ready to dance your socks off this August Bank Holiday when the Cultural Quarter comes alive for 24 hours with 24 Hour Party People, as DJ Fitz celebrates 25 years on the scene.

DJ Fitz has been playing in and around Leicester for nearly a quarter of a century. He’s an integral part of the city’s constantly evolving music scene, performing sets at some of Leicester’s most iconic venues. Now, to celebrate DJ Fitz’ almost 25 years in the game, he is taking on a challenge, to DJ non-stop for 24 hours for charity at 24 Hour Party People. Don’t miss the 24 hour non-stop dance-a-thon as it takes place at The Exchange Bar.

Whilst DJ Fitz is on the decks from midday on Sunday 25 August until midday on Bank Holiday Monday there’ll be a host of other activities to keep you entertained too. Keep your eye out for further details including face painting, family fun, evening events and even a disco breakfast.

The event is raising funds for two Leicester based charities, Soft Touch Arts and Big Difference. To support the event and the charities you can sponsor DJ Fitz over on his Virgin Money Giving Page.
