Tell us how the concept of aptyv first started?
The idea was born out of a desire to create a functional drink which derived the goodness from some of the world’s most amazing natural ingredients, such as lions mane mushroom, gotu kola, moringa and acerola cherry to name a few. We aimed to combine these with our specially formulated blend and add some exciting flavours to ensure the creation of a speciality soft drink that tastes great and works to give people a pep in their step.
You’re launching with two flavour profiles, how would you describe the drinks for first time tasters?
Crisp, Zingy & Refreshing!
We’ve gone with a triple flavour profile for both drinks.
Each profile is totally different, with Enliven consisting of Yuzu, Ginger & Lychee. The tartness of Yuzu, the heat of Ginger and the subtle sweetness of Lychee combine to give a balanced taste.
Refresh is flavoured with Pomegranate, Cranberry & Mint. The natural sweetness of Pomegranate, the tartness of the Cranberry and subtle cooling Mint combine to give a crisp and refreshing balance to the drink.

Both drinks are free from artificial colours and flavours.

It is great to be able to begin the brands journey in our home city!
It will be great to keep the main base of operations in Leicester even as the brand continues to grow.
Being able to create and produce a product locally and establish it in the local community is both exciting and rewarding.
