Tickets are selling fast for a special screening of the Matrix at the National Space Centre this weekend.

With the first screening sold out, there are only tickets remaining for the 9.15pm showing on Friday 11 October 2019.

Starring Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, and Carrie-Anne Moss, The Matrix depicts a dystopian future in which humanity is unknowingly trapped inside a simulated reality. The Wachowskis’ 1999 classic won four academy awards and has been praised by critics, filmmakers and authors of science fiction – especially for its spectacular action scenes and its ground-breaking special effects.

Boosters café will be serving a selection of hot dogs, nachos, sandwiches, snacks, popcorn, soft and hot drinks, as well as alcoholic beverages from 18:00.

18:00 – Doors open (bar and café available)
19:00 – First screening begins
21:00 – Screening ends
21:15 – Second screening begins
23:15 – Screening ends
23:30 – Building closed
