By now you should have all heard about Caddyshackers, Leicester’s first crazy golf bar, but did you know that they’ve got a brilliant street food trader housed inside as well a cocktail bar that’s open until midnight every night?
Yes, it’s not all about the hole in one at Caddyshackers, you can extend your visit with a bite to eat and a few drinks too. OR you can head down just for some food and a couple of craft beers. Entrance to the venue itself is free, so pull up a chair at the bar, have a pizza and then see if you fancy a round of golf!
Frank’s Fine Pizza is the sister trader to one of our favourite street food outfits, Canoodle (you might know them from being a Canteen regular). They’ll be serving at Caddyshackers everyday with their wood fired pizza oven, hot dogs and desserts, making up some of the finest pizza in the city (I’ve tried it, it’s true).
From The Hot American covered in pepperoni and jalapeño to their vegetarian favourite choices of either goats cheese and courgette or mushrooms, spinach, peppers, and peas. They’ll also be adding in a few specials, so look out for the current Hot Dog Pizza Special that’s on at the moment. We’ve also heard rumours of a breakfast special coming soon too.
If a hot dog is more your thing then you won’t want to miss their fully loaded with beef sausage topped with Monterey Jack cheese, crispy onions, jalapeños, ketchup and French’s mustard packed into a brioche roll.
Vegan? Hurrah, you’re covered too with both vegan pizza and vegan loaded hot dog options available.
Prices are from just £7 for a classic margarita pizza and £6.50 for a loaded dog. Made fresh in front of your eyes and in and out of the wood fired oven in no time at all, it’s a great food stop on your night out!
The Caddyshackers bar also serves up a fantastic range of cocktails and craft beers and is open to everyone from 3pm – midnight Monday to Thursday and midday to midnight Friday – Sunday.
