How many of us have been in town in the evening and cursed the fact that our favourite coffee shop closed at 5.30pm? Well now there’s no need to worry as one of Leicester’s best new coffee shops, Bru on Granby Street, is opening until 11pm.
If you haven’t visited Bru yet then make sure you do. With everything made on site it’s a very unique place, with a great menu to boot. From freshly made sandwiches, delicious cakes (I recommend the Bronkie! That’s an amazing cross between a brownie and cookie) and even homemade gelato you’ll be spoilt for choice whether you go at 7am for breakfast or 10pm for a late night much.
The coffee shop inside is so well laid out with fantastic decor and quirky little touches that you’d be forgiven for thinking it must be part of a chain, but Bru is all ours. It’s a one off in Leicester and is the brain child of an owner who openly admits he wanted to open it because he “just loves coffee”.

Oh, and make sure you try their soon to be famous liege waffles. They’re made using their own recipe and you’ll be pushed to find better outside of Belgium! There, we said it, now go and see how right we are!
