If you’ve been wondering what to do with that dress you’ve worn once, or a pair of shoes you’ve fallen out of love with, then this may just be the answer for you as Rock Kitchen Harris are hosting a Girls’ Night In in aid of LOROS, taking place on Friday 27 September.

The Girls’ Night In will host a ‘Swap Shop’ where you will have the chance to trade in any unwanted clothes for a whole new wardrobe. You could even bag yourself one of the designer pieces hidden amongst the rails.

All you have to do is bring along 3-6 unwanted items in good condition. This could be clothes, accessories or shoes that you would like to swap. The items will then be collected and you’ll be given a card containing the number of stamps you have to spend shopping. So, the more pieces you bring, the more stamps you’ll have to trade and the more items you can take home with you.

Once you’ve finished shopping the rails, you can relax and get yourself pampered with a free treatment from a beauty therapist. There will also be live music and a raffle with a selection of excellent prizes to be won.

LOROS Hospice, which is RKH’s charity of the year, cares for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and provides free, compassionate care and support to terminally ill patients, their family and carers.

Tickets are limited for this event and any remaining items of clothing as well as the profit from the event will be donated to LOROS. To purchase your tickets or find out more information, visit loros.co.uk/swapshop.

The event will be taking place on Friday 27 September between 7pm and 11.30pm at The Basement in Leicester.
