Finally it looks like the wait is over and Leicester is going to get a Thai restaurant in the city centre with Giggling Squid due to move into the former Grillstock unit on St Martin’s Square.
It’s reported that a deal has been done with retail consultants, SPACE, on behalf of St Martin’s Square with Giggling Squid set to open in the autumn.
Giggling Squid started life in Brighton and the brand has now grown to over 30 restaurants across the UK. The award-winning restaurants are known for their excellent quality and high end Thai tapas options.
The restaurant chain has become hugely popular amongst fans of Thai food with their extensive menu of fabulous flavours, as well as brilliant kids menu introducing little ones to Thai cuisine and full vegan options.
