Have you ever considered narrowboating as a hobby? Now is your chance to find out what it’s like!

This Saturday (28 September) the Canal & River Trust, in partnership with The Baldwin Trust, are offering free places for first-time boaters to get out on the water, learn about narrowboating and even have a go at operating a lock gate themselves.

Trips will be 90 mins and run from 10am – 11.30am with both pick up and drop off at The Hope and Anchor pub in Syston (parking is available in the pub car park).

Promising to be a fun day out and a chance to pick up some valuable skills to equip you for a narrowboat holiday or day trip!

Spaces are limited so please be sure to cancel if you’re no longer able to attend. You can book a spot via Eventbrite.
