Now here’s a reason to head back to your favourite bars as Leicester’s set to host its first Vardi Gras cocktail weekend.
On Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September some of Leicester’s top bars will be taking part in a cocktail extravaganza, which will see each bar showcase their signature cocktail for a discounted price.
Over the weekend each bar will have their specially created signature cocktail available for just £5. The idea then is for you to enjoy as many as possible over the 2 days and then ultimately vote for your favourite.
Of course the bar with the most votes at the end is the champion.
