What’s your favourite piece of graffiti in the city? Leicester city centre is alive with wonderful street art, from the Cultural Quarter and beyond. Now, on Sunday 30 September, people are invited to join a guided tour to find out more about some of the city’s most vibrant pieces of street art.

Retrospective – A Visual Snapshot of Leicester Graffiti is a collaboration between Graffwerk and the Choose How You Move project. The free tour forms part of Graffwerk’s Retrospective Exhibition (exhibition plus a series of talks and events at LCB Depot from 1 – 13 October) and will take the group on a 1.5 hour tour of Leicester’s streets. Presented as part of LCB Design Season, participants on the tour will be able to discover the inspiration behind some of the best loved pieces in the city, as well as discover some other hidden masterpieces.

The tour is free and no pre-booking is required. Participants should meet in New Market Square near the Alice Hawkins statue at 10.45am to guarantee their place.

The event forms part of LCB Design Season. For more information on LCB DS1 please visit www.designseason.uk.
