Summer’s approaching and in my eyes that means only one thing – festivals, festivals, festivals. Now then, we know that sleeping in a tent and not showering for days isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, which is why there seem to be a whole new breed of city venue based festivals rearing their heads in recent years. One of the best ones around is right on our doorstep over in Nottingham with Dot To Dot on Sunday 3rd June.

Dot To Dot takes place in a number of venues around Nottingham City Centre on Sunday 3rd June. and you can look forward to some huge gigs taking place in Rock City, Rescue Rooms, Nottingham Trent Student Union, Stealth and Bodega. Headlining this year’s event will be Brooklyn’s indie-surfer-pop The Drums and alternative rockers Pulled Apart By Horses. There is a spread of musical quality throughout the line-up to rival any major festival and you can enjoy it all with no need for wellies whatsoever! Nottingham’s own Dog Is Dead and American singer-songwriter Willy Mason are other notable additions to the line-up. Add to that the indie pop duo Summer Camp and Scottish folkies Admiral Fallow and you’ve got the makings of a unique and varied festival experience.

It all kicks off from 1pm and goes right the way through until 5am so it’s lucky that there’s a bank holiday the next day for you all to sleep off your hangovers!

Tickets are still available on Alt-Tickets for a very reasonable £20 and you can buy them from HERE. £20, one wristband and a whole day of top events!
