Since we launched the Cool As Leicester Social Club we’ve taken on board feedback of what sort of events people would like to attend. One thing that has come up repeatedly is live sport.

With a number of members expressing their interest in going to the rugby, some who have perhaps never been before, or others simply looking for new people to go with, we’ve arranged that as our next social.

 

Friday 31 March
Leicester Tigers v Edinburgh Rugby, 8pm.

 

If you’ve never been to the rugby and fancy trying it, if you’re looking to meet new people to go with, or you just fancy a few beers with some sport happening in the background, come and join us.

 

Tickets on the Terrace are unreserved so you can buy your own match ticket and we’ll be arranging a pub meet up beforehand. This event will be totally friendly and welcoming to anyone who might be attending on their own, but of course you’re also welcome to come with a friend.

Since launching in January the Cool As Leicester Social Club has gathered over 1600 members. We’ve had two official meet-ups, which have been well attended and well received, as well as many people within the group arranging their own social outings from cinema trip to walks.
