It seems that Clarendon Park is to get a new micro pub with Tollgate Brewery set to take over the old travel agent space at 109 Queens Road.
The brewery which is based on the Calke Abbey estate already run 3 micro pubs in the East Midlands, including The Tap at No.76 in Ashby de la Zouch, which we recently featured on the website.
Subject to license approval, the micro pub is set to open 6 days a week and serve a regularly changing range of beers, as well as ciders, wine and a small range of locally distilled spirits. Snacks including cold pies and scotch eggs will also be available.
The micro pub is due to open in December and will be open 5 days/week from Wednesday to Sunday.
