Back with another stellar lineup, this September the Canteen Crew have pulled together an unbelievable set of traders from across the UK including the winner of Best Burger at last weekend’s British Street Food Awards 2017, The Flying Cows.
Canteen will, as always, take place on the last Friday of the month (Friday 29 September) at LCB Depot on Rutland Street, Leicester. LE1 5RE from 5pm to 10pm.

Lemon Meringue – an all time classic; warm lemon curd, whipped cream, crushed meringue and homemade candied lemon
As always they will have their resident DJs – Leicester’s very own Fitz will be in the cafe while Promised Land’s Mr Hickford plays an all vinyl set in the Courtyard
Sailor Jerry Bar
The bar is situated just inside LCB near the Rutland Street entrance providing happy hour Sailor Jerry cocktails all night, grab yourself some temporary Sailor Jerry tattoos or collect the 4 different beaker designs which the cocktails are served in.
Last month the Boutique Bar was absolutely buzzing! Taking control this month is a bartender who runs a cute little cocktail bar with a lovely roof terrace. He takes pride from sourcing everything he can from the local market; from fresh fruit and berries to herbs and spices. He’s passionate on having the ethos of “Anyone can enjoy a fine beverage; you don’t have to be dressed in top to tails to get a drink!” A bartender that preaches “Never above you, Never below you, Always beside you”.
Bringing forth a specially constructed menu just for Canteen, we welcome Leicester’s very own, from The Attic at the Cookie… Xander Driver. Xander will be making some unbelievable Plant Pot cocktails complete with chocolate biscuit “soil” – more of that coming soon!
