Canteen is back for a Halloween special! Leicester’s best street food event returns to Morningside Arena on Friday 26 October from 4pm – Midnight, with not only a selection of the UK’s best traders but ALSO plenty of Halloween fun, from face painting to a Masquerade Ball! Entry is free plus there’s loads of extras including 2 for 1 Aperol Spritz ALL NIGHT.

Yep, this month Canteen is going all out to give you the very best Halloween party in town. Here’s just a small flavour of what you can expect.

Face Painting & Fire Performers
If you came last month you’ll remember Charlotte and her fire performing, which proved a huge hit. She’ll be back with her team for face painting and fire performing.
Trick or Treat Trail
Whether child or adult – grab a question and puzzle sheet and follow the trick or treat trail
Pumpkin Carving Competition
Bring along your best home carved pumpkin and submit it to get judged by our panel – great prize for the winner and runner up.
Best Fancy Dress Awards (Kids, Adults & Traders)
Fancy dress is highly encouraged and there will be prizes for the best dressed in our 3 categories
Prizes
Fancy entering the Fancy Dress or Pumpkin Carving competitions? Here’s what you could win? Judging for the best fancy dress costume (adults & kids) will take place at 8pm.
Family Friendly
The event is more family friendly than ever! Bring the kids down from 4pm and get involved in all of the activities above. Grab a seat, enjoy some food and have a dance before their little legs get tired out!
Masquerade Ball
From 9pm onwards Canteen will up the tempo and turn the party into a Masquerade & Fancy Dress Party – specifically for adults! Masquerade masks will be available to purchase at the event.
Aperol Bar
The Aperol Team will be down with a special bar offering 2 for 1 Aperol Spritz ALL NIGHT.
