Gourmet ONION BHAJIS (VE, Gluten Free) (Vegans ask for Vegan mint Sauce)
Caramelised onion, wrapped in batter, fried delicately by hand. Using our secret spice blend with gram flour. Served with Mumbai salad and signature sauces.
Gourmet PULLED CHICKEN FRANKIE (Vegan friendly pulled Jackfruit vailable)
Using secret marinating process and slow cooking and only prime pieces of succulent, tender chicken. Served with salad, special sauces, rolled in a soft freshly handmade roti.
Tender Chargrilled Chicken Sheek Kebab
With marinated Tikka Masala Paneer. Lots of fresh spices and a little green chilli along with a rich paneer cheese with salad, wrapped in our hand made roti, smothered in sauces of your choice.
Pulled Spring Lamb Steak in Yorkshire mini Puddings (Canteen Exclusive)
Slow cooked and delicately spiced served with Watercress, spiced sauce and Sumac.
Charred Cauliflower Tacos
Burnt pineapple, morita chilli crema, pink pickles.
Mexican Chorizo Burger
Melted cheddar, kohlrabi slaw, habanero aioli, toasted black sesame brioche.
Kalbi beef rib (Canteen Exclusive)
Beef Rib, Pico de gallo, chimmichurri, queso fresco.

The Boutique Bar will also be back this month. For July’s special they’ll bring forth one of Leicester’s very own great bartenders; Charlotte Wood. Charlotte currently resides at Manhattan34 in the cultural quarter but you may have seen her shaking her tail feathers at the White Peacock or smashing out Mojitos at Bar Dos Hermanos.
She featured recently as bartender of the month on drinksshop.com and (when time permits) enters competitions UK wide to keep herself on her toes. She has even won a few! Watch out for her highly anticipated cocktail menu hitting Manhattan34 soon! Charlotte has been given full reigns on Canteen’s boutique bar this month and will be taking inspiration from summer and all things tropical. She will be transforming the bar into an entirely new entity. Want a one word clue? TIKI! Expect plenty of pineapples, coconuts, hulas and a even totem pole or two!
Canteen is held at LCB Depot on the last Friday of every month. July’s event will take place on Friday 28 July from 5pm to 10pm.
