Your favourite festive movie soundtracks performed by candlelight in one of Leicester’s most historic buildings. Sounds perfect, right?
Candlelight Christmas takes place at the Guildhall on Friday 30 December at either 5.30pm, 7.30pm or 9.30pm. Performed by a string quartet, some of your favourite festive songs from the big screen will be brought to life in the beautiful candlelit surroundings.
Songs performed will include “Glasgow Love Theme” from Love Actually, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” from Home Alone, “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” from Elf, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” from The Holiday, “Walking in the Air” from The Snowman and “Let it Go” from Frozen, to name just a few.
The performance will last for approximately 60 minutes and there’ll be a fully stocked bar at the venue.
The concert is part of Fever’s Candlelight series, which has proved popular across the country and is now coming to Leicester for the first time
