For all of you fans of motorsport we have got a real treat in store. Santa Pod Raceway in Northampton is set to stage the FIA European Drag Racing Championships in September and you could be there as we have 2 pairs of tickets to give away!
Santa Pod is the European home of drag racing so there can be no finer place to watch the championships, what’s more it’s only just down the road in Northamptonshire. Taking place from Thursday 8th – Sunday 11th September, the European Drag Racing Championships will give spectators the chance to see the largest race entry and most packed Motorsport event anywhere in Europe! Imagine 300 teams, 16 race classes, Methanol dragsters, funny cars, pro mods and drag bikes, as well as much much more.
It’s not just the racing either, as the track will have a host of other entertainment on for you too. There’ll be track displays, a live action arena with monster trucks and stunt riding, air displays, rides, entertainment for the kids, live bands and obviously a selection of food and drinks.
It’ll make a fantastic weekend for all of the family (under 16s can even access all of the fun and entertainment completely FREE!) and tickets are still available for purchase. You can find out more info on the event and buy your tickets from HERE.
