On of our favourites, Bru, has re-opened for online and contactless takeaway and delivery services.
Located on Granby Street, Bru is usually always buzzing with the sound of chatter and all-round good vibes! With the UK outbreak of COVID-19 the store temporarily shut its doors in March but have now re-opened after launching a contactless online and takeaway service.
The online menus also include the WFH (Working From Home) lunch boxes, pairing up a grilled cheese or bagel with a barista made drink. There is also a range of dessert boxes, which are ideal for cosy nights. Open from 11am – 11pm it’s a perfect option for lunch or diner.
We’ve sampled the WFH boxes and trust us… the grilled cheese with BBQ chicken will brighten up and lockdown blues you might be having!
Bru coffee and gelato is available for delivery on Deliveroo, Uber Eats, OwlGetIt and will be on Just Eat this week too. The online menu has been totally refreshed and still features Bru’s hand-crafted coffee featuring their 100% arabica blend of beans.
Since re-opening last week Bru’s Strawbella, Virgin Mojito and Greek Frappe have been hugely popular. The Greek Frappe is in fact the original Dalgona Coffee which has been served by Bru and enjoyed by its international customers since 2015.
Aftab Gaffar, Managing Director of Bru said: “When we closed the doors at Bru many were disappointed. We have been working tirelessly in the background to adjust store operations and services in order to continue to serve our fantastic customers, without compromising on the health and safety of our team and community. Bru is delighted to launch our contactless delivery and takeaway service and it has been truly humbling to serve so many of our loyal customers and see them smile, even if it is behind a face mask!”
For key workers and staff unable to work from home, Bru has launched a ‘Coffee Run’ bundle on Uber Eats and Deliveroo and will also be running regular competitions through their Instagram and tik tok to help lift spirits whilst staying home and protecting our NHS.
