Spark Festival is back and taking place in various venues from 30th May – 12th June. This amazing Children’s Arts festival is returning to Leicester for 2 weeks and here are our top tips! It really is a feast of performing and visual arts. With events activities taking place all over the city for all ages, you will be spoilt for choice. An opera just for babies aged 6-18 months!  Created especially so that your baby can enjoy a magical musical experience. Recorded music is combined with live singing, using sounds and words that your baby will find stimulating.  Supporting early language development, your baby will enter a magical secret garden full of bees, ducks and splashing fish. Based on the book written by David Walliams (Little Britain), this hilarious story is all about an uncool kid called Chloe who meets a very smelly local tramp – Mr Stink. Suitable for children aged 7 years and over, this will be one pongy production.

This wonderful story of a tea-guzzling tiger has been adapted and directed for the stage by David Wood OBE. The show is full of magic, songs and tea time chaos! Reviewed by The Independent as ‘A Modern Classic’ a must see for children aged 3 and above.
