The Burleighs Gin Academy is launching at their countryside distillery for 3 exclusive dates.
Yes, you can escape to the country for an afternoon at the Burleighs Gin Distillery situated in the heart of the beautiful Charnwood Forest. During your visit you’ll visit their working distillery, discover the history of gin and find out exactly what it takes to produce a craft distilled gin. For the Burleighs gins you know and love they use a 450 litre copper-pot still, which you’ll get to grips with!
Whatever your preferred gin, be it floral, citrus, herbal or spicy notes, you’ll be able to create your own unique gin to suit your tastes, using the botanicals of your choice. Weighing your botanicals is a crucial part of the distilling process to determine the end result, so you will be guided on quantities to ensure the best outcome. You’ll be guided through process by Burleighs’ own Distiller, and you’ll then get to enjoy a Burleighs G & T before bottling, corking and sealing your 70cl bottle ready to take home.
Each bottle comes with a personalised label. What will you name yours??
The experience is available on Saturday 27 April, Saturday 11 May and Saturday 25 May at either 10.30am or 3.30pm. Prices are £115 for a single experience and £145 for a shared experience.
