The hugely popular Italian restaurant, Oggi, on London Road, Leicester, now has a new sibling as Bistro Oggi opens its doors.
Bistro Oggi has opened in Syston, serving authentic Italian cuisine in a sophisticated yet a relaxed atmosphere. Taking the popular elements of Oggi on London Road and bringing them to a village setting, Bistro Oggi offers a menu of Italian favourites, complete with classic cocktails.
Starters include Funghi Piemontese (fresh mushroom sautéed in garlic, white wine, parsley and cream sauce) and Mozzarella in Carrozza (deep fried mozzarella served with tomato sauce), followed by a selection of pizza, pasta and main dishes.
Stand-out options include Fettuccine Filetto e Fungi Crema (pasta cooked with beef fillet strips and mushroom in a cream sauce) and Pollo Milanese, to name just a couple.
Desserts include their homemade tiramisu, soft choux pastry profiteroles and Italian cheese selection.
The restaurant is open Tuesday – Saturday from 11.30am – 2pm, then 5pm – 10pm and on Sundays from 12pm – 9pm.
