Just because we’re back under restrictions doesn’t mean we can’t support our local businesses. Over the coming weeks we will be spotlighting businesses that are open and delivering everything from essentials to special treats to help get you through. We’ll even have some tips on local businesses who are helping you get on top of your xmas shopping from home.
As the first weekend of lockdown comes around we’re focusing on where you can get hold of some of your essential lockdown must haves.
200 Degrees Coffee
Throughout November you can get your caffeine fix as usual from 200 Degrees on Market Street when you go in to collect. If you’re not near the city centre then don’t despair as they also have their online sales and coffee subscriptions. Check out more on the 200 Degrees website.
Marks & Spencer
You can still get all of your favourite M&S treats as the food hall at Marks & Spencer on Gallowtree Gate will be staying open. You can shop through click & collect or use a brand new feature from the store which allows your to book a specific time slot meaning there’s no queuing when you arrive to do your shopping. 23 Wine & Whiskey
23 Wine & Whiskey stock the finest range of drinks in town. From high end bottles of rum, to specialist wines and hard to find whiskeys, they have something for everyone. You can continue to shop with them in person from Monday – Friday 10am – 5pm, Saturday 11am – 4.30pm and Sunday 12pm – 4pm. They’ll also offer click & collect and you can shop online via the 23 Wine & Whiskey website and choose for postal delivery. Just Fair Trade
Peter Pizzeria may be closing for dine in customers but they’ll be available for home delivery via Deliveroo and Uber Eats. They’ll also be re-introducing their Peter in the Pan at home pizza making kits too!
What’s your favourite thing on the menu from Giggling Squid? Ours is the Salt & Pepper Squid by the way. Your Thai faves will still be firing up their woks throughout lockdown. You can order via the Deliveroo for home collection or head over to the website for click & collect.
