For the first time this year, from Monday 12 April you can look forward to visiting many of your favourite Leicester shops again.
The reopening roadmap allows for the opening of non-essential retail and in this week’s BID feature we’re shining the spotlight on some of those who’ll be back open next week.
The Very Bazaar
An absolute Leicester institution and one of the best in the city centre for browsing. The Very Bazaar on Silver Street has been part of Leicester for many years and is a favourite for jewellery, accessories, incense, ornaments and more.
We all breathed a collective sigh of relief at the news that the Leicester John Lewis store wasn’t on their closure list. We can’t wait to head back into store to browse their fantastic homeware and clothing. From beauty products to revamping your home, the department store in Highcross has everything you could need. They’ll be reopening from 12 April.
Harlequin Interior Design
Over lockdown everyone has realised the importance of nice, comfortable surroundings at home. If you’re spring cleaning why not go a step further and upgrade your space? From big home redesign projects to little touches that make a space feel new, browse contemporary looks in the showroom on Loseby Lane.
Have you been waiting to buy something special? One of Leicester’s most exclusive jewellery stores, Lumbers on High Street, will reopen on Monday 12 April. Whether you’re shopping for a new watch, a perfect gift, a beautiful pair of earrings, or something sparkly, Lumbers provides a perfect setting for choosing something special.
Marks & Spencer
Marks & Spencer will be fully reopening all of their departments with plenty of fresh new products available. From outdoor dining accessories to clothes for the new season, the whole store is packed with choice. If you’re shopping for the kids you can enjoy 3 for 2 bundle offers across children’s wear too. The store will also be restarting their bra fit service with a new contactless bra fit programme relaunching from the Monday 12 April.
Looking forward to a summer game of tennis? Need to upgrade your running shoes? Looking forward to getting back to the gym? Withers Sports on Carts Lane have all of your must have sport and fitness accessories. As specialists in tennis, squash and badminton, it’s a must visit if you’re looking for new equipment this summer. They’ll be reopening from Monday 12 April.
