In this week’s Leicestershire Beer Garden of the Week we’re heading over to The Pear Tree Inn in Woodhouse Eaves.

The Pear Tree is a family run business, owned by three brothers; Riccardo, Gianni and Marco. Their Italian roots mean you can be assured of a fantastic pizza and Aperol spritz as well! In fact over lockdown they’ve built up a big following with their at home pizza kits and have recently launched their huge metre pizzas too.

The perfect spot for lunch or an early dinner, The Pear Tree has a fantastic wooden lodge space, as well as beautiful garden terrace.

The Pear Tree itself also has a fair bit of history attached and first opened n 1884. In fact during World War II American Gi’s stationed in Quorn were known to drink there before embarking on the D-Day landing.

It’s a lovely spot. They will be opening on Tuesday 13 April and bookings are open now via The Pear Tree website. Whilst they usually do a great restaurant menu they will be offering a limited drinks and pizza menu only to begin with on re-opening.
