This week looks set to be a scorcher and you can enjoy some outdoor eating and drinking at the Two Tailed Lion this weekend as they join up with Martin Bros Pizza.
Tønne over in St Martin’s Square is one of our favourite additions to Leicester in recent months and they’ll be hosting a pizza pop-up over the bank holiday weekend from Saturday 4 – Monday 6 May. They’re teaming up with the guys from Martin Bros Pizza Co to serve up a fine range of Neapolitan pizzas from outside the bar on St Martin’s Square.
Martin Bros Pizza Co have been doing a few pop-ups around Leicestershire in recent months and are proving very popular with their mobile wood fired oven and fresh toppings including hot smoked chicken, nduja sausage, rare breed pancetta or even jackfruit.
Pizza will be served from 12pm – 9pm on Saturday and 1pm – 8.30pm on Sunday and Monday. Pizzas are strictly limited though and once they’re sold out, they’re sold out, so get down early.
Tønne will be open as usual serving their excellent range of craft beers, draft cocktails and other fine beverages. Check the latest beer board over on Facebook.
